Simetta is a training product made by Uptimize Solutions (“Uptimize”, “we”). This policy covers the website at simetta.com and the Simetta training application we provide to companies. Questions go to hello@simetta.com.
This website
- No cookies, no tracking, no ads. The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
- Booking a call. The “Book a call” buttons open a scheduler from Cal.com. Its code loads only when you click one. The name, email and notes you enter there go to Cal.com, which runs the booking, and to us, so we can hold the call. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy.
- The demo stays in your browser. The sample lessons and tests run entirely on your device, on a made-up company. Nothing you type in them is sent to us or anyone else.
- Server logs. Like any web server, ours records the standard details of each request (IP address, time, page, browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We keep these logs for a short time and don’t use them to identify you.
- Email. If you email us, we use your message and address to reply and to follow up about Simetta. We don’t sell or share it.
- Fonts. The site’s fonts are served from our own server, not a third-party font service.
The Simetta training application
When your company uses Simetta, your company is in charge of the data, and we process it on your company’s behalf to provide the service.
What it stores
- People: each user’s name, work email address, role, department and training assignments.
- Training records: lessons, tests and exams taken, each save made in the simulator, scores, debriefs, reviews, alerts and reminders.
- Practice data: if your company imports its own customers, items, vendors or stock to practice on, those records are kept in your company’s sandbox. The sandbox never connects to your live ERP.
- Sign-in: Simetta signs people in with a one-time email link and keeps a session cookie while they are signed in. It stores no passwords.
- An audit log of administrative changes, so your company can see who changed what.
Who can see it
Company admins see everyone in their company. Department managers see the people in the departments they manage. Trainees see their own training. Each company’s data is kept separate from every other company’s at the database level. Uptimize staff access it only to run and support the service.
Services we use to run it
- Hosting: servers operated by Uptimize.
- Email delivery: sign-in links, invitations and alerts are sent through an email delivery provider.
- Optional AI features: if your company turns on AI coach’s notes or AI-drafted scenarios, the details of a training attempt (the task, what was saved in the simulator and which checks passed) or the scenario request are sent to Anthropic to write the text. Trainee names and email addresses are not included.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use your company’s data to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We keep your company’s data while it uses Simetta. When the subscription ends, we delete it on request, or after a reasonable period that lets you export what you need.
Your choices
If you use Simetta through your employer, ask your company’s Simetta admin first; they control your account and training records. You can also write to hello@simetta.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we’ll work with your company to do it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how the product handles data are also told to customer admins.
